Hier volgt een stappenplan en handleiding (tuterial) waarmee je informatie van jouw website kan delen via een facebook page tab (bron: http://www.eelcom.info).Als je geen website hebt dan heeft verder lezen nu geen zin.
FACEBOOK ZAKELIJK GEBRUIKEN MET APPS
Via facebook developer gaan wij een App maken. Deze zal via iFrame geïntegreerd worden op jouw zakelijk facebook pagina. Klinkt ingewikkeld, maar is via een simpele interface eenvoudig te implementeren. Voor het maken van een facebook App moet wel jouw facebook account geverifieerd zijn. Verificatie kan via SMS.
Ga naar developers.facebook.nl en klik rechtsboven op “Apps”.
Op de “Apps” pagina klik je vervolgens op “Create New App”. Het onderstaande scherm wordt geopend.
▪ App Name: geef hier de naam van jouw App op. Dit is een verplicht veld.
▪ App Namespace: namespace wordt gebruikt voor Open Graph doeleinden en de Canvas URL. Beide vallen buiten de scope van dit artikel.
▪ Web Hosting: Heb je geen eigen website dan, gebruik dan deze optie. Deze optie valt buiten de scope van dit artikel.
Klik op “Doorgaan” om naar de volgende pagina te gaan. In dit scherm gaan we de koppeling maken met de webpagina.
FACEBOOK APP ALGEMENE INSTELLINGEN
▪ App Domain: geef hier het domein van de website op waarvan je een pagina wilt integreren.
▪ Category: vul hier een categorie in die de applicatie het best beschrijft.
FACEBOOK APP INTEGRATIE INSTELLINGEN
De integratie instellingen zijn opgedeeld in 6 secties. In dit voorbeeld gaan wij 3 secties invullen.

▪ Site URL: geef hier URL van de website op.

▪ Canvas URL: geef hier het URL van de webpagina op die je wilt integreren. Let op: deze eindigt altijd op ‘/’.
▪ Secure Canvas URL: geef hier het beveiligde URL van de webpagina op die je wilt integreren.
Een beveiligde URL begint https:// in plaats van http://. Om deze te krijgen zal je een SSL Certificaat moeten kopen bij jouw Web Hosting provider. Zelf heb ik de App gemaakt zonder een beveiligde URL op te geven. In mijn geval zijn dit experimenten en zal ik voorlopig dus nog geen beveiligde URL aanschaffen voor mijn zakelijke facebook pagina tab. Dit is natuurlijk wel aan te raden als jij een definitieve koppeling naar jouw website maakt.

Facebook integratie – Page Tab

▪ Page Tab Name: geef hier de naam op die zichtbaar is voor jouw facebook bezoekers.
▪ Page Tab URL: geef hier het URL van de webpagina op die je wilt integreren.
▪ Secure Page Tab URL: geef hier het beveiligde URL van de webpagina op die je wilt integreren. Zie boven voor uitleg beveiligde URL.
▪ Page Tab Edit URL: valt buiten de scope van dit artikel.
▪ Afbeelding paginatabblad: hier kan je de afbeelding (111 X 74px) uploaden die op jouw zakelijk facebook pagina zichtbaar is.
▪ Page Tab Width: selecteer de breedte van de pagina tab. Houd er rekening mee dat er scrollbars getoond worden als jouw webpagina breder is dan de geselecteerde breedte.
Meer hoef je niet in te stellen. Klik op “Wijzigingen opslaan” om de instellingen te bewaren.

Nu de facebook page tab gemaakt is moet deze natuurlijk wel nog aan de pagina gekoppeld worden. Klik op de volgende link: http://www.facebook.com/dialog/pagetab?app_id=YOUR-APP-ID&next=YOUR_URL.
